Biography
Mr. Prastalo is in charge of managing entire business and servicing key clients. He manages complex projects that include combination of managing, financial, investing, brokerage and consulting knowledge, skills and experience.
In his professional work, Mr. Prastalo has gained years of experience in brokerage, investment and management positions while working at the Broker-dealer Company “Eurobroker” a.d. Banja Luka and Investment Funds Management Company “Aktiva Invest” a.d. Banja Luka, and as a general manager of CONSULTIN Ltd Banjaluka. He is also very experienced as a member or President of board of directors or supervisory board of several following companies: “Bentonit” a.d. Sipovo, “Potkozarje” a.d. Gradiška, “Cistoca” a.d. Banja Luka, “Banjaluka Film” a.d. Banja Luka, “Veletrgovina” a.d. Gradiska, Zatvoreni investicioni fond “Aktiva Fond” a.d. Banja Luka, “Gas Promet” Istocno Sarajevo and “Trznica” a.d. Banja Luka. For some time, Mr. Prastalo has worked as an assistant with the “University of Business and Management Engineering” Banja Luka, for the following subjects: Management Accountancy, Financial Markets and Brokerage dealing, and Financial Management.
Through professional work in previous period, Mr. Prastalo took a direct part in organization, implementation, management and rehabilitation/reconstruction of economic entities. With his teams, he was successful in prevention of their pre-bankruptcy and bankruptcy procedures, saving their property and turning them into profitable and self-sustainable economic entities.
In many business systems, through internal reconstruction, Mr. Prastalo established systems that affected increase of productivity, cost rationalization, creation of greater profitability, as well as increasing the rate of collection.
Mr. Prastalo also took part in processes of preparing economic entities for their share sale, and managed making strategies and overtaking economic entities and investment funds. In majority of cases, he was successful in winning the rights of minor shareholders within monopoly companies, and influenced company values increase through activities.
Besides, Mr. Prastalo has mediated in bringing a large number of foreign investors to the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the previous period.
At the time of transferring to the VELA consulting, Mr. Prastalo held a position of the CEO of Consulting Ltd Banjaluka, and before that president of the Board of Directors and General Manager of the Investment Funds Management Company “Aktiva invest” a.d. Banja Luka. He passed a state license exam for vocation of Broker and Investment Manager.
Mr. Prastalo took part in many professional seminars and other types of education in the field of professional engagement. He is an active English language speaker. He is married and has two children.
